The Lao keyboard stickers are
printed on clear Lexan® so the original key legend shows through; this allows
you to add Lao stickers to your existing keyboard so that it becomes a
bilingual keyboard (Lao) and the original language of your keyboard. The stickers are available in blue letters on clear stickers (for beige and light
colored keyboards), white letters on clear stickers (for dark colored
keyboards), and red letters on clear stickers..
Windows Vista is the only version of Windows that
supports the Lao language. The DataCal Lao sticker set is not compatible with
the Windows Vista Lao keyboard layout. Windows XP, ME, 98, and 95 did not have a keyboard layout for the Lao language. The user will
have to provide their own keyboard drivers and/or appropriate software
to type in this language in these versions of Windows. For information on alternative methods to set
up a keyboard in Windows, see the web instruction page.
Lao stickers are a very
economical option for creating a bilingual Lao keyboard. The language
stickers use an easy peel-and-stick method to install. They will not ooze
adhesive, dry out, or damage the original keyboard key. The letters are printed
on the underside of the Lao stickers so that the lettering will not wear out.
This affords you with many years of durable use.
