The sealed, rigid surface is ideal for medical, industrial, or marine use where disinfecting, cleaning, moisture, or other contaminants are a problem. Silicone keyboards can be cleaned with water, soap, alcohol, 10% bleach solutions, and a variety of chemical disinfectants. This is not a flimsy, flexible fold-up keyboard; the keyboard is rigid and completely sealed in the silicone case.

The touch pad is centered on the keyboard to allow both right and left handed users to type and enter data in an ergonomic manner. The sealed and rigid surface is ideal for industrial, marine, and medical use, as well as other applications where moisture, cleaning, and durability are a consideration. Because the Slim Cool + is also quieter than "standard" keyboards, it is great for applications where noise generated from “key-clicks” is a problem. The Slim Cool + is compatible with standard keyboard layouts and drivers are not needed. The Slim Cool + keyboard is an excellent choice when you prefer a superior and easy keystroke even when you use gloves.
